The Winter Park Paint Out is over and was a tremendous success for the Polasek Museum. Hundreds of visitors toured the museum and came to see 24 unique artist work on their paintings and demonstrate their talents. I created the painting "Morning Light" while enjoying the gardens in front of the Museum. The gardens were the most magnificent I have ever seen them this week.

  1. Hi Stewart,
Sorry to miss the event, got stuck here at work last week and couldn't get away - something very wrong with that, in my opinion! But glad to hear it was a success, and it looks as though you have some good work out of it.

  2. Thanks for the comment over on my blog. I have been sketching and drawing for the past two years but only started with watercolors in earnest at the the beginning of the year.
Thanks for the link, I noticed that Janet lists Charles Reid as one of her influences, and I have been studying his style a bit myself, as well as Alex Powers, so I can see the similarity. I will have to bookmark her page.
